The polo shirt is a popular autumn-winter staple that strikes the perfect balance between smart and casual. Whether you opt for a shorter sleeve during the warmer days or a long sleeve for the colder months, the polo can be dressed down with joggers or dressed up with tailored trousers and a blazer.
While many high street brands do polos very well, no brand does it better than Reiss. Every season Reiss create fun and modern designs of the polo with a new take on the classic to ensure the iconic top has new energy every season.
Here are my favourite polo shirts from Reiss this season.
PRESS STUD COLOUR BLOCK POLO SHIRT – £95
From the bold two-tone block colour design to the unconventional stud neck closure, this polo will ensure your outfit stands out.
TEXTURED ZIP NECK POLO – £95
A polo shirt doesn’t have to have a bold design to make a statement. The statement can appear in the form of subtle textures and details. The polo is available in two colours, navy and sage and features a blend of wool, modal and cotton.Â
ZIP NECK RIBBED POLO SHIRT – £95
The ribbed texture is a simple way of enhancing a plain coloured polo. What I love about this polo shirt is the unconventional sleeve cut. Usually, you will see the traditional set-in sleeve, favoured for the tailored fit around the shoulder. However, this shirt has a raglan sleeve providing a roomier fit around the shoulder. The neck closure moves away from buttons in favour of a zip closure.Â
COLOUR BLOCK ZIP NECK POLO – £95
Nodding to the seventies era, this polo shirt features a geometric, colour-block design crafted from a mix of cotton and wool. The polo comes in two colour schemes with my personal favourite being the sage, white and grey combination.Â
TIPPED ZIP NECK POLO – £95
Last on the list is another colour block design with a blend of two colours decorating the front and back panel, the collar and sleeve.
