Now that summer is officially over. It is time to start prepping for your autumn winter wardrobe. Nothing feels better than searching for your perfect coat for the fall season. While your last winter coat is begging you to wear it, ignore it and buy something new because you can never have enough coats, right?
Here are some of my favourite autumn-winter outerwear trends to help breathe new life into your wardrobe.
The belted overcoat.
The overcoat is traditional a slimline tailored cut, but for this season, the winter icon is going oversized. Oversize silhouettes are usually hard to pull off right but with the help of a belt opens up a wealth of styling opportunities to help with the larger size.
The check overcoat.
Check is a pattern that you can always find in an autumn-winter … This season the check pattern in blown up to large proportions with a mix of seasonal colours.
Make your outerwear the hero piece of autumn winter wardrobe with the latest trends.
The water-resistant trench.
The trench is the perfect coat to wear for autumn. It is lightweight, and if you look hard enough, you can find a style that is water repellant. Taking inspiration from the iconic Burberry trench, the military-inspired outerwear is lined with a tonal check and a detachable wool collar.
The raglan sleeve overcoat.
On the topic of oversized, the raglan sleeve is another way of creating a relaxed while giving your shoulders a bit more room to breathe. Raglan sleeve coats are perfect if you have a bulky torso or need to layer which is a no brainer during autumn-winter.
The short pile jacket.
Nothing feels comfier than wearing a soft shearling jacket. The pile jacket is styled with contrasting functional elements to create a modern update.

The leather puffer jacket.
The puffer jacket doesn’t always have to be in the usual poly fabrication. Elevate the puffer with an all leather interpretation to give this casual jacket a luxe upgrade.
