Zara has just released its spring summer 2020 campaign, and it gives you a glimpse into the popular high street brands style aesthetic for the next couple of months.Â
From sailor caps to snakeskin loafers the aesthetic this season is very eclectic and free-spirited, with nautical themes running throughout the collection. Accessories are also a key styling point, such as bold jewellery and belts helping to cement the bohemian style aesthetic.
If you want to discover the looks and some of the key pieces, then dive into the action below. Here is the mens spring summer fashion according to Zara.
SILHOUETTE
One of the first things I notice about the collection is the casual, relaxed feel of the silhouette. From the trousers to tailoring and even knitwear, the fit is relaxed and oversized conveying an effortless feeling.
FABRIC AND PRINT
The campaign features a melting pot of fabric and textures. Polka dots and stripes feature heavily throughout each look along with a resort shirt with multiple sized polka dots, to a nautical striped t-shirt to a striped jacquard trouser.
When it comes to fabric, there is a range of textures throughout the collection. My favourites are the patchwork knitwear.Â
ACCESSORIES
Accessories are the hero of the collection from the hook belt to the sailor cap.
The crossbody handbag comes in a relaxed suede, and distressed leather fabrication matches the oversized belt buckle detail in the strap.
STYLING
Whether you buy into the collection or not, looking at the styling choices is a great way to incorporate the principles into your style without spending money. Tailoring is crucial from a styling perspective, knitwear, tops along with shirts are tucked into relaxed tailored trousers.
Jewellery is layered worn in abundance, with multiple rings and bracelets.Â
Resort shirts are layered over tops and worn open with belts worn in every look. Standout colours to style together include navy and pink, burnt orange and camel, navy and white.
SHOES
Lastly, shoes are formal for this spring summer collection. Styles include snakeskin loafers, soft leather shoes as well as ankle boots.Â
