Who wants to buy clothes at full price? I certainly don’t. If you are like me and you want to buy at the best price possible, you need to be subscribed to the best loyalty programmes/discount websites.
Here are my 6 tips to get a discount on high street fashion
1. H&M CLUB
H&M launched their reward scheme last year, register instantly and get 10% off your first H&M club shop.
What do you need to do?
Register online or download the app and register there.
How do the points system work?
Super simple. £1 = 1p. To earn points, show your H&M club barcode for the shop assistant to scan (if you’re in store)
What rewards do I get?
When you have enough points, you can spend them on any reward of your choice, as long as you have the right points to redeem.
2. SUBSCRIBE TO A NEWSLETTER
A lot of brands have a subscription offer when you subscribe to their newsletter. To ensure that your primary email account is not clogged up with the spam, I recommend using a junk email address that has a sole function of collating your junk mail. To further benefit from this discount, create multiple email accounts.
Usually, the discount is 10% for new subscribers
A website that offers you a percentage return when you spend.
I.e. 10% cashback when you spend on ASOS
All you have to do is register and make sure you purchase the product using the link they provide.
What’s the catch?
It takes a while for the money to get past the pending stage but after that, you are free to withdraw from your PayPal or bank account
No, but if you have a plus account you have more rewards but a £5 deduction free from all money withdrawals
4. ASOS A-LIST
Along with next day deliver ASOS have an A-Lister reward system
How does it work?
The more you spend the closer you are to your next reward.
£1 = 5 points
Clear 500, and you receive a £5 off voucher, which is valid for only six months
What are the levels?
Level 1 – 3 with the final level being the VVIP
As you rank, your double points days are increased, allowing you to have more money off your birthday, notification of advance sales and access to competitions, exclusive offers and events.
We all know how this works make sure you use it if you are a student.
6. SALE / SEASONAL OFFERS
Shopping during sale requires patience and discipline. To not give in to temptation and wait to find it cheaper.
However, you can get your favourite seasonal pieces at great pieces if you wait until there is an offer. Stay alert. Register for updates and keep your eye out when shopping on the high street.
